OMG, Scotland is the gift that keeps on giving. Inveraray Castle is just another reason to love this place. The day earlier I nearly crashed the car over a bridge when this incredible building appeared beyond a field, and exploring the castle and gardens was even more amazing than I anticipated. Not to mention this was the Downton Abbey Highland trip castle, so I walked in the footsteps of Head Bitch Dowager Countess of Grantham.

Quick history lesson: There has been an Inveraray Castle standing on the shores of Loch Fyne since the 1400s, and after various renovations and unfortunate fire incidents we get this stunner of a castle! Also the seat of the Duke of Argyll, chief of Clan Campbell and I really need to find myself a Duke, so eligible Dukes please apply within.
