Glamis Castle is said to be the "prettiest" castle in all of Scotland. Seeing it in person, I don't think there is any denying this claim! It's a fairytale castle, though slightly marred by the fact it was closed for the Winter. And we hadn't researched it before driving all the way here. Goddamit.
